What a beautiful day!

Hannah and I headed outside to enjoy this beautiful weather before it disappears again this weekend!  Hannah loves to be outdoors.  She waves to people walking by, laughs at the dogs barking, and just takes everything in.  We had fun blowing bubbles and went for a walk around the neighborhood with Dad and Radar.

Ok, so I know this doesn't fit, but at breakfast, Hannah had managed to stick a piece of banana to her nose.  After asking her, "What happened to your banana?,"  she tells me, "I don't know," with her hands revealing more food stuck to her palms.  Such a mess!  :)

Hannah and 'Dar

Hannah loves her 'Dar (her interpretation of Radar)!  And Radar loves Hannah (most of the time)!  They have lots of fun together playing ball and chasing each other around the house.  He gets so excited when she wakes up and usually runs into her room before I can hear her.  Hannah loves to hear Radar bark and laughs when he does.  Of course, Radar enjoys Hannah's snacks and mealtimes.  We have had to ban him from the kitchen when she eats, as she has already learned hand him a piece of food when she doesn't want it!

Hannah Learns...

...that no matter what you do, sometimes you just have a bad hair day!

10 Months Old

Our girl turned 10 months this week!  She is growing so fast!
She has finally decided that real food isn't that bad!  She loves eating cubes of sweet potatoes and shredded chicken.  If she likes it, we get a big "Mmmmm!"  Hannah can now stand on her own for a few seconds.  She has also started clapping and waving to anyone and everyone.
She is so friendly and has such a sweet personality!

She has also started signing.  Right now she can sign "more," "all done," and "milk."
Of course, sometimes she will tell me "all done" and then say she wants "more!"

Hannah has "discovered" where Daddy works all day and will sneak away to see him whenever she can.  Sometimes, we have to close the doors if Chet is going to be on the phone.
This is where I found her one day this week:

Hannah has a habit of holding things in her mouth so she can crawl somewhere or stand up.  It is so funny to catch her with stuff hanging out of her mouth.  It can be anything from a sock she has taken off to a rubber duck with its entire head in her mouth.

Country Girl

We just got home from a quick trip up to Bristow, Oklahoma to visit with some of my family.  We were able to spend all day Saturday at my aunt and uncle's log cabin.  Hannah had a great time crawling around chasing their dog (and, of course, being the center of attention).

Hannah hanging out with Aunt Jamie and Uncle Jonathan,
enjoying being outdoors and Jonathan's new truck!

There were ladybugs everywhere and one landed in front of us.
Hannah watched it very closely and even let it crawl on her hand for a minute.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
The three of us had a great time ringing in the new year by going to bed!  We are still trying to recover from our trip and sicknesses so the thought of staying up until midnight was just not going to happen!

Chet, Hannah, and I wish everyone a wonderful new year with many happy blessings!  Ours is already off to a wonderful start.  We are so blessed to be able to see this sweet smile everyday!
