InstaFriday

life rearranged

Lots of fun this week after Hannah and I finally recovered from a cold/sinus infection that knocked us both down for about a week.  No fun!  Here is what we have been up to this week:

Waiting for Dad at the airport.
Reminds me of my brother and I waiting for our Dad
to come home from his business trips when we were little.
Except that now you watch people walk by instead of going all the
way to the gate and watching the airplanes go by.
Not quite as exciting but still fun!

Having fun at the Disney Store!
(No, Bullseye did not come home with us!)

We found a cute little cupcake bakery near our house.
Hannah decided she wanted the cupcake
that also had an Oreo on top!

Fall Festival this week at school.
We opted to dress cute for Halloween rather than wear a costume.
Her costume is a little cumbersome and difficult to get off and on.
She'll get to wear it to Trunk or Treat this weekend, though!

We had a fun Girls' Day Out while Dad was gone.
We went shopping, had Sonic Cherry Limeades (Hannah's favorite),
and played mini golf.  I much prefer Hannah's way to play.
Just do whatever you need to do to get the ball in.
Even if that means swing backwards or between your legs.

A $2 Shower Curtain Liner, Sharpie markers, crayons, and a few cars
equal hours of entertainment.  We used the markers to draw our town.
Hannah colored it with her crayons.  Great for those rainy days!
Thank you Pinterest for the idea!

It's Fall!

I have to share this precious picture of our super cute girl.  Today was her Fall Fest at school and she had a great time playing all of the mini carnival games.  Hannah is also very excited for Trunk or Treat this weekend and can't wait to get lots of candy!

InstaFriday

life rearranged

Rather than bore you with what actually happened this week (countless hours in the car and loads of laundry sitting on the floor that still isn't finished), here are a few pictures from our trip that I (or Chet) snapped with our phones.

Hannah played mini-golf for the first time on our trip and loved it!

Hannah loves the characters!

We love that she has full conversations with them!
She always thinks of one question to ask
each one while waiting her turn.
It usually has to do with asking where another character
is that is from her movie.

So excited to be here!

Sweet cousins!

Duffy, Mickey's teddy bear.
We saw him at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
There wasn't anyone else in line so we
got to play with him for a few minutes!

So excited to meet her newest favorite duo, Phineas and Ferb!
"Hey, where's Perry?"

Two little Rapunzels meet the real Rapunzel.
Rapunzel ran up as soon as she saw them, exclaiming, "My Girls!"
They had the best time!

If you remember the post where Flynn Rider wasn't
allowed to be anywhere near Rapunzel last time we saw her,
you'll know how far Hannah has come!
She allows the boys and princes to be in the photo,
but she will not stand next to them!

Ready to play at one of our favorite attractions, Toy Story Midway Mania!

Two sweet Alice in Wonderlands!
We had breakfast with Alice and the Mad Hatter that morning.

Sweet Ariel ready for breakfast with the princesses.

The Longest (Working!) Vacation Ever

Three nights of driving through five states,
Three fabulous nights on board Disney Dream cruise ship,
with many of our wonderful agents for our annual meeting and playtime
including an awesome day at Disney's Castaway Cay,
One relaxing night at Disney's Vero Beach Resort,
Five nights at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando for the
CareNet Pregnancy Conference (with some down time spent at WDW!),
Six nights at Disney's Contemporary Resort spending time at our favorite place with some of our favorite people (Chet's sister and her family were able to join us!),
One night on the road to Montgomery, Alabama,
One fun night spending time with Chet's cousins and preaching at their church the next morning,
Two more nights driving home to Texas =

Three weeks on the road making one incredible vacation, two tired parents, and one happy three year old who can't wait to go back, four large loads of laundry (after two mid-trip) and a ton of pictures ready to upload to my computer and relive the memories.

Until I can get pictures posted, here is one of our big, three year old on her first day of school that I forgot to share. (She went one day before we left and was so excited to get to go back yesterday!)
