InstaFriday- Double Edition

I missed InstaFriday last week, but we had so much fun the week before I didn't want to leave out those pictures!  So, here is what we have been up to the last two weeks!

I love these girls!
Kelli, me, Christa, and Lisa
Oklahoma Christian graduates almost (gasp!) ten years ago!
Love that we can still get together once a year and chat like we are still in college.

Hannah stayed with Aunt Jamie while I was gone.
She had a blast with Brayden and Mason (Christa's sons), too!

Our floors are no longer safe.
This girl is rolling everywhere and grabbing everything in sight!
She rolled all the way across the office today!

Mamaw and Grandad went to Vermont and all Hannah and Olivia
got was this giant 4 1/2 foot Teddy Bear.
In the mail, no less!

Hannah also got a brand new, big girl bike!
No tricycle anymore!

One of our summer activities was a scavenger hunt this week.
I originally planned to do an outdoor one looking for various nature things.
But thanks to the Texas heat, we had to come up with a back-up plan.
So we used clues to help Agent P find Phineas and Ferb
and the "evil" Dr. Doofenshmirtz!
There was even ice cream as a reward for catching the bad guy at the end of our hunt!

Hannah is really into board games right now.
They are great activities for between dinner and bedtime.
Monopoly, Jr., Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Go Fish, Old Maid
We play them all!  So fun!

Daddy and Olivia checking out the fish and sting rays.
Since it is so hot, we were looking for indoor activities to do that don't have
a big cost or have us walking the mall every time.
We found an incredible deal for a combo annual pass for the Aquarium and Legoland.
Just going a couple of times makes the cost worth it.
And it is a great excuse to get out of the house and not spend a ton of money.

Hannah at the Legoland display of the State Fair
and other local Texas landmarks.

We also made soap clouds this week!
Ivory bar soap plus the microwave makes tons of cheap fun.
And it makes the house smell so nice and clean without the extra effort.

InstaFriday

It's been awhile since I have done an InstaFriday, but I want to start doing them again.  It's a great way to fill in the little, everyday things that I treasure and keeps the blog updated more often!

It has been a crazy week trying to get caught up from being gone and Walt Disney World released a huge special and 2013 packages both this week, but we did have some fun with our popsicle stick summer.

Hannah painted these magnetic butterflies on Monday.
That girl loves to paint and be crafty!
Where did she get that from? :)

It is currently 3:00 am and I am blogging.
Our trip completely disrupted Olivia's sleep schedule.
It has been a long week of trying to get some routine back in our day (and night!).
But this sweet smile makes it all so worth it!
Even when she wakes up crying multiple times a night.

She started rolling over like a pro this week, too!
She has been doing it for a while, but those were more flukes.
This is intentional.  All day long, even at night (which is part of the problem!).
She is so proud of herself, then gets mad when she can't quite get back.

We walked to 7 Eleven for our free Slurpee this week!
On the way back, we decided to take a scenic route but ended up walking in circles trying to get home.
We did find a brand new park that isn't too far from our house!

Our last activity this week was a Glow Stick Bath.
Cheap glow sticks from the Dollar Store provide so much fun!
We added bubbles for even more fun!

Walt Disney World in an Instant

Chet was invited to speak at the Spiritual Growth Workshop in Orlando this past weekend, and we can't be in Orlando without spending some time at Walt Disney World!  The conference was fantastic!  He did a great job as always, had a great response and we met many new friends!

Our week at Walt Disney World was probably our craziest trip ever thanks to Tropical Storm Debby.  One day it rained all day without stopping.  Two days it rained about every half hour, just enough time to run between rides.  We threw on our ponchos and kept going.  By the time the rain was gone, it was hot enough that we wished the rain back!  Despite the crazy weather, we had a great time, and were so glad that Nana (Chet's mom) was able to join us for our trip!

Because of the rain, I left my big camera in the room just about the entire trip and just relied on my phone's camera with Instagram and Disney's photographers.  It was almost refreshing to not have to worry about missing that shot!

Here is our vacation in an instant:

Sweet sisters.  The day we left for Florida and the night before we drove home.

We saw a lot of characters!  They like to hang out inside when it is raining.

Hannah being goofy and Olivia showing her sweet smile.

Had so much fun with Nana!

Hanging out with Pooh and friends.

We saw all of the princesses!  Hannah even got to meet Merida from the new DisneyPixar Movie, Brave.

We spent one day at Sea World.  Hannah told us over and over again, "This is awesome!"
