Big Fish, Bows, and Bumbo Seats

Big Fish
This week was our first time to go to Summer Spectacular (VBS) at Richland Hills. It was incredible! This year the story was Jonah, A Whale of a Tale. Hannah even went to class for the first time. She loved it and even cried yesterday when everyone left. Everyone who registered got a free T-shirt. They even had these cute little onesies for the babies!

Bows
Okay, so I really just like Hannah's expression in this picture and wanted to post it. We are having fun with all of the bows and girly things!

Bumbo Seats
Hannah is trying so hard to sit up and doesn't like lying on her back all of the time so we bought her a Bumbo Seat. It is a little chair that helps her sit up by herself. She loves it!

Who does she look like?

I guess this a common question when you have a baby. Everyone has their own opinion and we've had some very interesting comments. Most everyone says that Hannah looks like Chet when they first see her. Even one of the doctors that delivered her, told Chet that he had some strong genes. Some people at church told us, "She is Chet with a bow!" Chet's favorite reaction is a look of "oh... she is yours."

A lot of people say that she is a perfect mix of the two of us. I think that one of my favorite comments was that Hannah looked like me from the eyes up (except with her Daddy's blue eyes) and like Chet from the nose down. We like to say that she just looks like Hannah.

A Weekend of Family

This past weekend we toured West Texas visting family. It was great to see everyone and for them to meet Hannah.

We started out in Midland for Jessica's (our niece) high school graduation.
Hannah and her cousin, Jessica.

Hannah with her Nana, Aunt Jennifer, and Cousin Maddyn.
Maddyn was trying to give her cousin a kiss.

After Midland, we headed up to Lubbock so Hannah could meet my grandparents. My family met us up there. On Monday, we went up to Muleshoe, where Hannah could meet her great-great-grandmother.

Hannah and her great-Grandpa. She thought he was pretty funny.

Five generations: Hannah, me, my Mom, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother

My Family (Hannah was tired of taking pictures by the time we got to this one!)

We decided to break up the drive home by stopping in Abilene to spend the night. We were able to spend some time there with my great-Aunt Della and great-Uncle Frank.

Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On

Hannah is growing so fast! She will be three months on Friday. Last week, we went to the doctor. She is now 14 pounds and 4 ounces and is 24.5 inches long. That puts her in the 90th percentile for babies her age. She has her mom's genes!

This is my new favorite picture... We put her blue jeans on for the first time last week and she looked absolutely precious!
