A Dozen Ways to Pray

Several months ago, Chet was interviewed for an article in the new magazine, Purpose Driven Connection.  The writer explored how, why, and what different people pray.  He interviewed about a dozen different people and broke the article down into each of their stories.  Not too long after the interview, a photographer came to our house to take a picture of Hannah and Chet praying.

I love this picture!  Not only because it is beautiful (the scanned copy is hardly justice) and is of my family, but because it shows what an incredible father Chet is, and is a reminder of what an incredible Father we all have, who has blessed us with so much.

The article is available here: A Dozen Ways to Pray or I believe you can purchase the magazine at WalMart.

Lions, & tigers, & bears (& George), OH, MY!

We are wrapping up Chet's speaking tour of Tennesse and Arkansas! Right now we are in Springdale, AR. Chet is going to speak tomorrow at WalMart Corporate and at a local church. It has been a great trip and we will share more details when we get home and on Chet's blog.

Today, we took a break and took Hannah to the Little Rock Zoo. It was her first trip to a zoo and she absolutely loved it! She loved to see all of the animals, exclaiming "What's that?" at every exhibit.

Hannah was so intrigued by the monkeys! She loved watching the climb and swing.

...and George. We found this monkey in the zoo gift shop. Hannah has fallen instantly in love with him (Chet and I named him, George)! She has had a hold of him almost all day since we got him.

Happy Easter!

Every year on Easter weekend, my family meets in Cisco, TX at the church camp there for a family reunion.  As usual, we had a great time!  Hannah loved being at the camp since she loves to be outside and always had someone paying attention to her!

This picture is a little dark, but I just love her expression and she has pigtails!

Hannah knew just what to do at the Easter egg hunt.  I had given her the basket with a few eggs to play with earlier in the week, so we have been "hunting" all week.

American Idol's Youngest Fan (and other fun pictures)

Hannah loves watching American Idol!  As soon as it comes on, she is glued in, clapping along with the audience.  Hannah doesn't really care what the judges say (who does anyways!), but loves listening to the songs.  It was one of the few shows that keeps her attention.
This girl definitely loves music!
While we were in Arkansas, our friends Jon and Julie invited us to hang out between churches at their house.  One of their dogs was so gentle.  He let Hannah climb all over him.  They were so sweet together.

Hannah loves to be outside, but has decided that she hates the feel of grass.  She is fine walking around but if she falls, I have to help her stand back up.  Here she is testing it out:
