Summer Fun

Hannah's summer school/ camp program that we normally do, didn't get enough kids to sign up this year so they had to cancel it.  We thought about finding another, but decided with our schedule this summer, it'd be best to just take a break.  To keep busy, we are having Hannah's Summer Camp.  Every week, she'll pick four popsicle sticks out of the jar to do that week.  Each of the colors is a different type of activity: a craft, a treat, something crazy, and an outing.  One day each week is Library Day.

This week, she picked Water Dropper Art for the craft activity.  I filled the bottom of a pan with baking soda and dyed vinegar with food coloring.  She used a water dropper to drop the vinegar on the baking soda.  It was fun to watch it bubble up and leave behind fun patterns.  The activity was such a hit that we did it twice!

Happy Sisters

In a rare occurrence today where both girls were happy and willing (and I had my camera out), I captured these precious moments between sisters.  They do love each other so!

Definitely my new favorite pictures!

"Every move I make..."

Hannah's last day of school and program was yesterday.  In years past, Hannah did not want to sing up on stage especially once she saw us.  Not this year!  She saw us as she took her place and waved.  Not only did she sing, but she sang loud enough for us to hear.  She even announced the name of the next song.  Such a little ham!

She was in the caterpillar class this year.  When I picked her up at the end of the day, she was so excited that she is now in the butterfly class!

Life Today!

Chet's message of hope has touched so many lives and I am so proud that he is my husband!  God has opened so many doors that we never would have thought possible in the last few years (and wouldn't have been without His help).  Because of Chet's work with pregnancy centers in the pro-life community, he was selected to be one of the featured stories in the documentary, The Gift of Life.

That documentary allowed Chet the opportunity for him to be interviewed on the Life Today! show with James Robison.  Mr. Robison was also featured in the documentary and, together with his wife, host the nationally syndicated talk show that happens to tape about thirty minutes from our home.  The video is a clip from his interview with the Robison's son for their social media publications.  We are excited to see what other doors God will open from this and pray that you are blessed from this message!

Pizza Rolls

I found a fun (and easy!) recipe for pizza rolls on Pinterest and thought it would be a perfect recipe for Hannah and I to make together.  She loves to help me in the kitchen!

It's Summertime!

Okay, not quite summer but close enough!  We decided to make our first visit to Nana and Papa's pool today.  The water was a bit cool still, but it felt great with as warm as it is already outside.  Our little fish jumped right in and had a great time as usual.  She starts swimming lessons in a few weeks and can't wait!

Olivia is still a bit young for the swimming pool, but she loves being outside.
And she is super cute in her sunglasses and summertime yellow!
