A good friend of mine gave me a cookbook that shows how to hide fruit and vegetable purees in family friendly meals. It is a great way to get kids (and Chet!) to eat their vegetables when they are too picky. Hannah hasn't really hit that point yet, but it has still been fun to try out some of the different recipes. It can't hurt to eat a few extra veggies!
Today, Hannah and I made Peanut Butter and Banana muffins (with hidden cauliflower). She had a blast helping me mix and put it into the muffin pan. She could hardly wait til they were finished baking!
Yummy!
I have wondered about that. Is there really enough vegetables in there to make a difference? Sounds like a great idea!
