Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Hannah decided that she wanted to visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  The boutique is a mini-salon and spa for little girls (and boys, too).  There are two located in Walt Disney World, one in Disneyland, and now one on the Disney Fantasy.

There are several packages to choose from.  Since this was Hannah's first time, we splurged and got the largest package.  It included the dress and shoes.  She chose to be First Mate Minnie, a dress only available on the ship.  The shoes are red glitter which made her VERY happy!

Hannah also had her hair fixed, nails painted, and even a little bit of make-up.  Olivia spent the afternoon in the nursery, so this afternoon was all about Hannah.  She loved every minute of it!

The Reveal.  I just love her expression!

Longest Disney Trip Yet...

Twenty one days away from home.  Some of those days were driving days, but it is now our record for our longest Disney vacation yet.  Part of it was vacation and part of it was our annual meeting for Off to Neverland Travel.  Both parts were fantastic!

We started our trip off with a cruise on Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Fantasy.  Seven days unplugged from the world and the agency.  No email, no phones... it was definitely a needed vacation.  So much of our time away is not really "away".  Our phones make it possible for us to travel the way that we do and still be connected to the agency and other obligations.  However, that blessing can also be a hinderance to much needed time away as family and from the stress of the world.  The cruise forces us to do just that!

We arrived in Orlando a night early to trick-or-treat at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party with two little Tinker Bell's.

It has become a tradition to eat with Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch at Disney's Polynesian Resort, the morning we head out on a cruise.

We always have a blast exploring the ship on the first day!

Olivia spent much of the trip in her Ergo Carrier, especially on the ship since we didn't take a stroller. I snapped this picture in the elevator mirror since it is a little difficult to take pictures of her when she is on my hip!

We spent a lot of time relaxing on our verandah.

And helped Mickey and Kermit solve mysteries on the ship with the Midship Detective Agency.  This is Pepe's (the King Prawn from the Muppets) room on the ship.

Sweet girls before dinner one night.

We also got to dress up for Halloween along with all of the characters!
Both girls were Rapunzel on Halloween night.

Strategizing with Peter Pan on Pirate Night.

More pictures to come!

I've Been Everywhere...

We just returned home after being on the road for two weeks.  Staying in eight different hotels made it a whirlwind tour!  We first headed to Minneapolis where Chet was invited to speak to the FDA for an awards banquet.  We left a day early so we could spend one day at the Mall of America.  Hannah loved the indoor amusement park and spending time at the Disney Store and the American Girl store.  Of course, we had to play mini golf... Hannah's favorite!

We were very excited that the amusement park inside the mall was very accommodating and let Chet ride almost every ride there.  Other than Disney, there aren't any other theme parks that will even discuss it with him.  Hannah was very brave and tried several types of different rides.  She rode this bus that went up into the air and kiddie bumper cars (twice at each!).

After Minnesota, we headed down to Glasgow, Kentucky for Chet's cousin's wedding.  The ceremony was held outside the bride's childhood home.  Such a beautiful setting and a beautiful ceremony!  We loved getting visit with several of Chet's family!

After the wedding, we headed down to Nashville for the CareNet conference that we have attended for several years.  It was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel right next to the Grand Ole Opry.  We had a great time at the conference visiting with friends.  Chet's business manager lives in Nashville and we loved getting to see him and his family!  They have two boys about the same age as our girls.

We had some time one evening, so we walked around the hotel taking pictures since the girls were dressed alike.  This is my new favorite picture!

We are glad to be back home and are getting ready for our next big trip!

Seven Months

Miss Olivia is seven months old today!  This year is going so fast!  She has such a sweet and fun personality!  Her hair has grown a ton these last few weeks and is getting thick.  It is a dark, strawberry blonde color and I think she sometimes has the temper to go with it!

Olivia is eating almost everything I give her.  Fruits, vegetables, oatmeal.  Her doctor said we can try her on meats soon, so we'll see how that goes.

Olivia wants to be on the move!  She is sitting on her own, rolling and scooting everywhere.  She recently started pulling up on her hands and knees.  Mostly she rocks back and forth, but sometimes those hands and knees move.

She is still a Mama's girl and is very selective about who she lets hold her.  We are definitely into the teething stage which means lots of drool(which causes the excema breakouts on her sweet face).  Love you, sweet girl!

InstaFriday- "C Week"

These last couple of weeks have been a bit crazy and it is going to stop anytime soon!  We are continuing our fall trek across the country this month.  Last week we went to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for Chet to speak at a church and private school.  We also enjoyed a little bit of time with some extended family!

In between engagements, school, and everything else, we have been focusing on the letter, "C."  I think this has been Hannah's favorite so far because all of the fun treats start with "C!"

Ice Cream Cones

and Cookies

Olivia did not think it was cool that she didn't get a cookie!

Hannah had fun with her cousins this week!
She and Maddie spent the night with Nana and Poppa.
Then Maddie and Hudson came to our house to spend the night.

Olivia started drinking from a cup.

And Hannah got to celebrate a friend's
birthday at this fun place full of trampolines!

Six Months

Miss Olivia turned six months old this week!  It is hard to believe she is half way through her first year. We are having so much fun with her!  She has started squealing (loudly) at almost everything.  Olivia is such a happy baby especially when Mama is holding her!  She is definitely a Mama's girl and will tolerate letting others hold her for a few minutes.  But if she sees me, then she wants back in my arms.  (Which I am okay with!)

She started eating solids this month.  Besides eating oatmeal, she loves vegetables and we just started trying different fruits.  So far, she only turns her nose up at squash and won't touch it unless it is hidden in a blend.

We finally got her sleeping through the night again after two months of waking up every three hours.  She was sleeping through the night until we took an extended trip early this summer and it completely messed up her schedule.  We are getting ready for some crazy travel in the next few weeks and are praying that we can keep sleeping through the night!

InstaFriday- "B Week"

We didn't do as many "B" activities this week since Hannah started both school and gymnastics.  It has been a great week, even the weather is finally getting better!  Hannah loved gymnastics and had a great first week at school.  Chet is on his way home from his first speaking engagement of the season, which was fantastic as always!  Here is what else we have been up to this week:

The blur in the middle is Hannah jumping across the trampoline in gymnastics.
Gymnastics is such a great way to burn some energy!

Showing off our "B" word list.
We add to it all week long.
Hannah loves finding words to add to it!
This week we ate bananas, made bumble bee "B's,"
she started school in the Butterfly class, and saw the bears at the zoo.

And this sweet baby started holding her own bottle!

Having a conversation with the penguin at the zoo.

Precious girls!
